PLEV season 8: It was January 2023 when Aaron first landed in Bangkok, Thailand — his first time flying, his first time stepping into a city that never seems to slow down. The trip was exciting, unfamiliar, and unforgettable, but at the time, it was simply that: a trip. A new experience shared with his girlfriend’s family, full of moments that felt big but undefined.

When he returned in November 2024 with his whole family, the city felt different — not because he was analyzing it or studying every detail, but because it felt familiar. Comfortable. Like a place that had quietly stayed with him.
There wasn’t a single moment of deep observation or some dramatic spark of inspiration. It was simpler than that. After being back, after carrying those memories for a while, he just felt like creating something. No overthinking. No dissecting the culture. Just a natural pull to turn the feeling of Bangkok into a design — something that captured the energy of being there, even if he couldn’t fully explain why.
The design
The design features a deep green base symbolizes grounding and reflection. The back features a bold lotus graphic with Thai script for “PLEV,” honoring Thailand’s culture and the personal growth tied to the journey. The minimal front chest detail keeps the focus subtle — just like how travel changes you quietly.
As an avid fan of horror, and artistic anime. It’s no surprise Aaron decided to make a tee paying tribute to the scifi/thriller anime from 2006 “Paprika“.

The design
Set on a strong red base, the front features a layered illustrated portrait with vertical “PAPRlKA” text detailing, blending identity and artistry.
On the back, the phrase “A Sea of Dreams, Archives of the Memories” is surrounded by East Asian characters, symbolizing movement, time, and collected experiences.
This shirt reflects the emotional side of travel — the dreams, the culture, and the stories we carry long after returning home.
